# Compare honesty note (2026-10-06)

## Enzo Ferrari (FIRST remotion recreate)

| side | file | reality |
|---|---|---|
| Original | `enzo-ferrari.mp4` | Finished master proxy on hub |
| Recreado | `enzo-ferrari-recreate.mp4` | **Remotion** `Narrado-EnzoFerrari` — 33/33 cutmap segments filled with MOVING substitute clips (no still underlay), inset/film-strip layouts measured from the master, dual grain, glitch/aberration, Gelion EN, StoriesFooter |

Cutmap `docs/cutmaps/enzo-ferrari.json`: **0/35** plates matched (material outside MEGA). Honest: picture is a moving stand-in (same cut timing + layouts, period-matched substitute shots from `Enzo Ferrari on Ferrari`, Biagi 1982, Italian interview, 156/312T/125 proxies — see `tools/match/enzo_ferrari_fill.py`), not frame-exact archive.

2026-10-06 fix: the first render only had 7 substitute clips (~22% of the timeline); the other ~78% was a single still JPG under grain, so Recreado looked frozen next to the moving original. Compare player now nudges playbackRate for small drift and never re-seeks while a seek is pending (previous per-frame re-seek could stall the Recreado panel).

Composition knobs (Studio / props): `grain.showFine` / `showCoarse`, `effects.glitchEnabled`, `effects.aberration`, `vhs`, `preset` (SignalDrop / BwArchive / DualGrainClassic), `showStoriesFooter`.

## Other compare tabs (S001/S002/CC001/SC001)

Still **proxy-of-finished-master** until their Remotion cutmap renders replace Recreado.
